RAM Gaskets began life as RAM Jointings in 1973, in the city of Truro. The company moved to new premises at Threemilestone in 1976, and received its first quality certification of BS5750 in 1989. RAM moved to its present Redruth location in 1995, and its first website went live in 1997.
The projects that we have worked on include: the light stick sculpture on the M5, the Paris Metro, the media centre at Lords cricket ground, the channel tunnel, and a Mars Lander prototype. Our parts have made their way into, amongst other things: tills, taxi metres, valves, drilling machines, industrial compressors, heavy electrical equipment, heat exchanges, fuel storage, pharmaceutical equipment, and classic cars.
