John Hicks (Managing Director)

John studied mining engineering at Imperial College, University of London, before going on to work in the coal mining industry. He joined RAM Gaskets (then RAM Jointings) in 1987, and took the company over in 2004. John is experienced in gasket design, materials, and manufacturing. In his spare time John enjoys racing his boat, and taking part in classic car trials.

Andy Gool (Office Manager)

Andy started working as a CAD Technician at RAM Gaskets in 2013 and has an understanding of the materials and products we can supply. Since he moved into the office in 2016, he has also developed his knowledge of our customer base. Andy is in charge of overseeing office processes and accounts. Outside of work he enjoys playing Cricket.

Darren Poffley (Business Development)

Darren joined RAM in 2013. He is in charge of quotation and business development, as well as technical support. In his free time Darren likes riding his motorbike and archery.

Phil Falconar (Production Control)

Phil came to RAM Gaskets in 2003 manufacturing the gaskets, gaining knowledge of the materials and variety of products we can supply. He moved into the office in 2005, joining the other 2 office members at the time, meaning he gained knowledge of all aspects of the company. Phil oversees of production and is in charge of purchasing. In his spare time Phil enjoys playing pool and golf.

Ben Whitburn (Production assistant)

Ben joined RAM Gaskets in 2010 manufacturing the gaskets, beginning in our UK, advancing to International production. He moved onto CAD production & technical drawing team obtaining Level 2 in Parametric modelling. Acquiring an in depth knowledge of CAD table maintenence. Ben moved into the office in 2024. In his spare time Ben enjoys playing football and gaming.
