Rubber Washers

We manufacture rubber washers in a range of dimensions and thicknesses. Washers can be produced to the tolerances and shapes that you require.

We manufacture in a full range of rubbers, such as neoprene, nitrile, EPDM, silicone and viton. Washers can be produced with an adhesive backing to assist product assembly.

We offer our customers complete material certification and traceability. Our quality system even allows customers to control how their parts are manufactured.

EPDM Washers

EPDM stands for Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer.

These washers are commonly used in sealing and electrical insulation applications; they have good chemical, mechanical and wear resistance properties. Certain types of EPDM are approved by WRAS for use with potable water.

Neoprene Washers

These washers are commonly used in electrical installations and weather sealing applications. They are particularly suitable for use with water; be that salt or fresh water – although for drinking (potable) water it is better to use EPDM.

Nitrile Washers

Nitrile rubber is also known as Buna-N, Perbunan or NBR rubber.

Washers made from nitrile are used in the prescence of fats, oils, fuels and other liquids contaminated by these as they have outstanding resistance these elements. They can also be used at a range of temperatures (-40c to +120c depending on grade).

Silicone Washers

These washers are known for their chemical inertia. As such, they are useful in extreme environments and temperatures from -55°C to +300°C. Common industrial uses include pharmaceutical and food processing due to their stability. Various grades of silicone are available so please contact us with your specific requirements.

Viton Washers

These washers are used in the presence of aggressive chemicals, fuels and explosive gases therefore they have application in the oil, gas and mining industries.
