Graphite Gasket Material
Graphite Gasket Material
As a general rule you should select the thinnest material possible for your application.
General Properties of Graphite Graphite is generally used in high temperature and high pressure environments, and commonly finds applications in steam cycling or exhaust applications.
Graphite has a low friction surface. It excels in extreme conditions, resisting high pressures and temperatures.
It is available as a pure graphite sheet or with a steel core insertion which gives greater rigidity to the material. We can supply industrial or nuclear grade graphite.
