Neoprene Gaskets

We can manufacture neoprene gaskets to any dimensions and in any shape. Whether you are after a standard part, or something bespoke, simply give us a call or send us your drawing, and we will be happy to offer you a quotation.

Neoprene rubber gaskets (otherwise known as polychloroprene) exhibit good chemical inertia, and are commonly used in electrical installations and weather sealing applications. Popular examples of gaskets made from neoprene are:

These joints are particularly suitable for use with water; be that salt or fresh water – although from drinking (potable) water it is better to use EPDM rubber.

Neoprene has good resistance to ozone and sunlight. It does not support combustion, but self extinguishes. It has a resistance to oils, and is ideally used in temperatures ranging from -20 C to +110 C.

Remember that as a general rule you should select the thinnest gasket possible for your application.

If you can’t find what you are looking for, or require a bespoke gasket, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Is Neoprene the Best Material for My Application? If you are unsure as to which rubber is best for your application then you can consult our gasket material selector, or our guide to rubbers. Material specifications can be downloaded from this page.

Certification & Traceability: Both certification and traceable certification can be supplied with your gaskets, should it be required by you or your customer. Traceable certification lists the batch number and cure date/ manufacture date of the material. Please contact us to request certification at the time of order. Traceable certification cannot be retrospectively supplied on orders that have already been fulfilled.

We are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality certified.
